Back in the day! (Part 2)

This is the second post in a two part series in which we look at including additional content in the yearbook about the things that were happening in the world while you were at school. In part one we looked at the sort of things that you could include, in part two we are looking at how year groups like to present the information in an attractive way.

Remember that when you choose to work with Wave Ed on your yearbook project there are no restrictions in how your pages look, as our team of designers will create the pages to your spec, so if you've got a great idea that you would like to use just let us know, and don't forget to comment on this post to share your idea with other committees!

These are just a few of the most popular ways that we have presented these pages in the past...

  • In the style of a newspaper front page

  • In the style of an internet search for the year

  • As a message wall that students have written their memories on

  • As a timeline, with events recorded along it

  • In a scrapbook style with images cut and taped in

  • With content in categories and presented on relevant icons, so a TV screen with the biggest TV shows on, a smartphone with the most popular gadgets, a receipt with what things cost, a magazine with the biggest celebrities etc.

Other groups have simply asked us to create the pages in the style they have chosen for the rest of the book. The opportunities are endless with out bespoke design service!
