Job roles on the yearbook committee

Thinking of creating a yearbook committee but not sure what job roles are needed? This is the post for you.

Here’s a quick outline of the main roles:

Editor - This is a very important role as the editor is in charge of co-ordinating the contributions of all the other committee members and ensuring the final yearbook is as it should be.

Copy Editor- It is the responsibility of copy editor to check all the written content for the yearbook for mistakes. As well as finding spelling and grammar mistakes the copy editor may have to ensure all content it appropriate. (Don’t know what is inappropriate? Click here)

Photography Editor- The photo editor must make sure that everyone has submitted their profile picture and is responsible for obtaining photos for the montage pages. .

Payment Co-ordinator – This role involves making sure everyone is aware of payment deadlines and chasing up any outstanding payments.

Marketing Co-ordinator- The marketing co-ordinator is responsible for advertising the yearbook and encouraging students to sign up for a yearbook. (We provide all our customers with free advertising material such a posters and flyers to make this role easy peasy!)
